Construction Detour Directions

 

Village of Linglestown Construction Map

Phase 4  March 28th to May 7th

 

·        Traffic will flow one way from East to West on Linglestown Road. (The same direction as the previous detour.)

·        Construction will begin on the East half of the roundabout on N. Mountain Road and the North half of the roundabout on Pennsylvania Avenue.

·        Traffic will flow one way on N. Mountain Road moving North from Raspberry Alley, toward the mountain, during the duration of the project. Traffic on N. Mountain Road moving South from Raspberry Alley will continue to flow in both directions.

 

Phase 5  May 9th to May 27th

 

·        Traffic will flow in both directions from Linglestown Square moving East on Linglestown Road.

·        Traffic will continue to flow in one direction from Linglestown Square moving West.

 

Phase 6  May 30th to June 13th

 

·        Roundabouts are completed and open.

·        Construction on Blue Mountain Parkway

 

Post Phase 6  after June 13th

 

·        The top pavement layer will be applied with two way traffic flow using a flagging operation.

 

Access to Linglestown Life

 

·        If you are travelling from East of Linglestown Square, you will be able to use Linglestown Road to the Square and then turn right on N. Mountain Road.

·        If you are travelling North on N. Mountain Road toward the Square, you will be able to cross Linglestown Road and continue to the church.

·        If you are travelling from West of Linglestown Square,  you can turn right at Ranger Road, turn left at Laurel Street, proceed several blocks turning left on Pennsylvania Avenue, then right on Larue, and then turn left on N. Mountain Road.

·        Or, if you are travelling from West of Linglestown Square,  you can head East on Linglestown Road, turn left at the stop sign at Blue Mountain Parkway, and then turn right onto Blackberry Alley.

Leaving Linglestown Life

·        No traffic will be able to exit on N Mountain Rd.

·        All traffic leaving Linglestown Life will need to exit via Blackberry Alley.
