Updated COVID protocols

We have walked a long way since March 2020! What has kept us going is our love for one another. As a result, we have had no known transmission of COVID-19 at our Linglestown Life facilities. This includes being able to complete a full school year at Linglestown Christian Nursery School.

We have demonstrated our love for one another by thinking of others first. Now, we encourage you to continue to walk on this journey forward as we patiently enter a new period of time.
On May 13, the CDC issued guidance that vaccinated individuals can resume normal activities without masks. While we are heartened by this news, resuming normal activities at Linglestown Life’s two campuses will require flexibility on the part of everyone.

Therefore, our recommendations beginning Sunday, May 30 are as follows:
1. All individuals are required to wear a mask upon entering, moving through and departing the Linglestown Life facilities.
2. All individuals, 2 years of age and above, involved with children and youth ministry must wear a mask at all times, inside and outside.
3. Fully vaccinated individuals may remove their mask while seated for worship or other activities on the campuses, inside and outside. If you get up to move around after being seated, please put your mask back on.
4. Platform participants who are fully vaccinated may perform unmasked.
These recommendations are meant to honor all individuals, especially those persons who are unvaccinated, immunocompromised, and children who are not eligible for vaccines.

For persons who do not wish to worship indoors, Linglestown Life will maintain an outdoor service at 8:30am and an online worship experience at 10:00am.

Linglestown Life encourages those persons who are immunocompromised or who are receiving treatments that reduce their immune response to consult with their healthcare professional regarding wearing a mask, vaccinated or not.
As a part of our protocol, we will continue the check-in process at the main entrance. We will continue to have hand sanitizer available throughout the building. We will eliminate temperature checks at the main entrance. Students may have their temperature checked upon entering their classrooms.

As always, if you are not feeling well, please remain home. If you believe that during the previous 72 hours you have been in contact with someone confirmed to have COVID, please remain home, monitor for symptoms and participate in worship via our livestream.

While we continue to walk together in love through this season, we thank you for demonstrating patience and compassion for all persons. These changes to our COVID protocols will be in effect throughout the summer. We will continue to monitor community health and adjust these protocols as needs warrant.
