George Reynolds - Senior Pastor

We're so glad you've decided to come to our website today. We at Linglestown Life take great joy in worshipping and celebrating the Lordship of Jesus Christ. We hope you're able to experience the excitement and enthusiasm we identify as God's Holy Spirit moving among us.

We at Linglestown Life believe that you're important to us because you're important to God. God loves and cares about you, and because God cares, so do we. We're here to help you encounter the living Jesus so that you may grasp the depth of his love for you. We're here to help you understand the meaning of Jesus as Savior and Lord, and how you can experience new, abundant and eternal life by accepting him into your life. The various sections of this site will give you a glimpse of who Linglestown Life is. We're always welcoming new people to join us in the ministries in which we're already involved. In addition, we're always open to new ideas in expanding our ministries into areas we've never considered before.

We hope that among these you can find a place where you feel comfortable in being part of Linglestown Life. Or maybe you have an idea you'd like to share with us to consider expanding our current ministries. In any case, you're always welcome at Linglestown Life. If you're not attending church regularly elsewhere, accept this as a personal invitation to make this your church home. You have a place among us. You belong here.

May God bless, preserve and guide you, and may you always sense the presence of Jesus near.

Adam Estep - Minister of Community Life
E-mail Adam

About Me:  I was born and raised in Harrisburg, PA.  I graduated from Central Dauphin in 1998, went on to Penn State and graduated in 2002, and completed my Masters Degree in Religion in 2007 at Evangelical Theological Seminary in Myerstown, PA.  Also, I am in the process to be ordained a Deacon in the United Methodist Church in about 2 years.  My family includes a wonder wife and mother, Kendra, and boy/girl twins on the way in November (check for an update then).  I look forward to the challenges and sleepless nights that parenthood will bring.

About Community Life @ Linglestown Life:  Community life focuses on three areas of ministry here.  First, we want make people feel welcome and at home here at Linglestown Life.  We strive to move people from attendance to partners in mission and ministry.  If this is you, I would encourage you to consider attending one of our Next Steps Towards Discipleship gatherings throughout the year.  Contact me for the date and details for our next one.

Second, we want to grow people in their faith move them towards being a fully devoted disciple of Jesus Christ.  Following Jesus is a start, but being a disciple is our goal here at Linglestown Life.  We want to move you from being a spectator in faith to an investor and doer of faith.  If this is you, perhaps you should consider attending our Exploring Discipleship class and/or our PLACE class.  Again, contact me for the date and details of our next classes.

Third, we want people to feel they are cared for here at Linglestown.  So community life includes visitation ministry, meal ministry, and other congregational care ministries.  While we cannot guarantee we’ll be able to handle every need of every person in our community, we guarantee to try.  So if you are in the hospital, if you are recovering at home and need some assistance, we are here for you.  Feel free to once more contact me if you have a need to be cared for!

Anyone interested in joining the Linglestown Life Chancel Choir please contact me via E-mail at MarmosetB@comcast.net or via phone at (717) 319-0790.  I only ask that you have a passion for praising God through song and can sing on pitch (at least most of the time *smile*).  The skill of reading music is not necessary, just a willingness to learn and an openess to go where God may lead.

Personal Statement of Faith:I believe that Jesus Christ is God’s Son, who came, taught, bled and died for our sins.  I believe He then entered into Hell, retrieved the keys of life and rose to set us free.  I believe that life is a gift given to us by God and that without Him nothing is possible.  Faith is the foundation of my life.  Everyday is spent in worship and awe of God’s creation.  I seek to increase my relationship with God though reading the Bible, prayer, daily devotions, consulting with a spiritual mentor, participating in a small group, and putting into practice what I have learned, attempting to be an example so that I might share my faith with others so that they might have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
